I am a very hard worker who is very easy going and looking for someone to share those special moments with. The world is an unfriendly place and the time here should not be spent alone. I am done with my education, but sometimes get busy with work and my daughter. BUT, there is still something missing in my life and I WILL make time for the right person.
My hobbies would include small to large projects around the house, going to the lake with the boat or to the dunes with the quads. Anything outdoors is a plus for me and if it includes being in or around water, well, better yet. I realize the river and the desert are activities that are usually associated with guys that just want to party, but this is not the case for me. My daughter lives with me full time and I take her on these trips. I would NEVER do anything, with or without her, that would jeopardize the decision she has made to live with me.
A few of the "likes" I am looking for in a companion: It would be nice if you liked to get away from this concrete jungle, that we spend so much time in, as often as possible. Boating, camping, hiking or just a quick trip to the beach, would be a few things I would want us to do, but I am not opposed to also staying in a nice hotel where luxuries are provided. A trip to Vegas or Laughlin will suffice when the need for a spontaneous “get-a-way” comes up. The desire to be adventurous and try something that the other person finds exciting should always be considered. Being able to share things that we like (individually) will only benefit our experiences together.
Being adventurous is a big plus, but most of all, this person needs to have a sense of humor. A sense of humor to create laughter each day does so much to diminish the stresses of life. I can joke around with the best of them, (sometimes sarcastically) but it is all in fun so be prepared.
As far as personal characteristics, you must also be honest, sincere, passionate about everything you do, and be a loyal friend, because these qualities will be reciprocated. You must also be a good communicator and understand how communication is key in establishing a true relationship. If you are communication "challenged" then you may want to skip my profile.
On the softer side, I consider myself a very affectionate person. I love holding hands and showing affection in public…to a certain degree of course. A very good kisser is a must and for those that are good kissers, we know the difference. Playful teasing along with laughing and joking should be a part of any relationship.
I would like to find someone that is actively involved in work, school, or both with a desire to better themselves each day. Life is a journey and not a destination and the same applies to dating. The destination is not important, but the positive choices and the people we surround ourselves with will determine the outcome. I am not superficial and I would expect the same from others. Anyone can bring mediocrity to the table, but substance takes a lot of hard work. I will put in the time and effort, will you.....?
