I'm a born and raised Southern California guy who stereotypically wears sandals a lot, lives by the beach, and says dude in normal conversation. But besides that, I am a really driven but laid back person (I know that's an oxymoron) who is down for anything and likes to joke around a lot. I push myself really hard at everything I do whether it be work or cleaning up after the mess my puppy made. I am a lead system design engineer for a cryogenic equipment company - I'm still trying to figure out what that means. I can try to explain the type of person I am or what things I like to do but I think the pictures I posted do most of the explaining. Yes, they are pretty random but it's those moments that make life interesting.
I currently spend most of my time trying to get my black lab puppy tired so he doesn't destroy my house. So I guess you can say I'm a single parent. Even though it's a lot of work and some frustrating moments, I really do enjoy every second of it and wouldn't have it any other way. And he really is the best dog ever (sorry to break the news to any of you who have a dog). But if you enjoy long walks on dog beach, hanging out at dog park, or throwing a tennis ball at the park, I'm your guy.
I know what I'd like to get out of this online dating thing and I'm sure it's the same as everyone else - find that special person - but I don't want to force things to happen. It's nice that there's a percentage match provides based on character and appearance but that doens't really mean a whole lot to me. I'm very much a spark a first site kind of guy and if it isn't there I don't push for it. So, if I spark your interest please don't be shy. If it's mutual then we can go from there. Keep things simple and see what happens.
