Most people would say that I'm very active. I travel a lot, last week I was in rural Illinois, this week I'll be in Miami, continuing to Delaware (where I own a home), Harrisburg, Boston and Ontario (California). I also travel to Europe, Australia and Canada. However I currently live mostly in Long Beach, California.
I have, so far, had a varied life, first as a geek (research engineer), then a big corporate executive, then a writer, then a consultant and, ten years ago, I found my current calling. I was born and educated in England, lived in Holland, Canada and now the US. (I am a citizen.) I also spent a year sailing, mostly in Mexico
I any case I am planning, in a couple of years, to cut back on workshops (I teach Leadership), do more traveling for fun and focus more on writing, both fiction and non-fiction. I'd like to have a dog again, with my current travel that isn't possible or fair. If I find the right woman and it makes more sense, I can bring forward the transition to the next stage.
My life is fulfilling except that I miss being in a relationship. In recent years I haven't really tried 'dating' - my travel got in the way. So later this year I've deliberately carved out times for 'fun' activities and, I hope, some of that time will be in pursuing a relationship. I know that it will be an unusual woman who will be attracted to my current lifestyle, on the road half the time and possibly a bi-coastal existence. However, if the magic happens, I can cut back on all of that. But maybe, first you want to join me in Sydney, London or Vancouver?
