I am a Kansas native who, after college, went feral and migrated first to California and then to New York. Nine years later, I am still in the City of Dreams working at an art college in lower Manhattan and returning to my 101yo brownstone in Brooklyn at night. I see the world as a mosaic and love traveling to the exotic parts of it I've never seen before, while at the same time embracing the warm rush of home that comes over me whenever I return to New York.
I love making art, roaming around the city and driving late at night listening to music with the windows down. I am most alive when I am connected to another person and wrapped up in the wildfire of real and engaging conversation. While I have discerning taste, I am open minded and genuine. I can just as easily be found watching a game at the Irish pub as seeing an indie movie at the art house theater.
My perfect match is an equally warm and intelligent man who knows what he wants in a relationship, is healthy and driven, and loves people. He knows his true north and uses it to navigate the world around him with confident authenticity, while also taking the time to just kick back and have fun. He is romantic and wears his heart on his sleeve, but also knows his roots and is down to earth. He is always able to see the big picture.
