I'd like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to your last "love interest" for making a HUGE mistake - and losing you! I'm glad you're here! Now let's all take a moment of silence for the things we've done wrong, and the people who have done us wrong (get your mind outta the gutter!)..............okay done! Now, let's have some fun and start something real! A common question I've been asked (and I ask others) is "What brings you to Match?" Well here's my reasoning: I'm single (don't laugh! Not everyone on here is), I'm not interested in a developing a romantic relationship with any women I know socially, I won't date my clients, and I'm usually too rushed at the grocery store to stop and introduce myself to a beautiful woman. *I'm kidding about that last one...but there was this one time in college... Here’s something original: I love my family! Yeah I’ve noticed most do, and I find that very important. I look at mine, and realize that they are the biggest reason for the success I’ve had to this point. Also, I hope to one day experience the loving relationship my parents have. Of course, not everyone has a great relationship with their family…but no worries: mine is looking forward to welcoming in a nice woman when the time is right! Most of my free time (for the past several months) has been spent remodeling my house…entirely inside and out! My friends – bless their little hearts – have gotten (or are getting) married and starting families of their own. Our opportunities to spend time together are getting fewer, but perhaps that makes it better when it does happen. As far as work – I’m a partner in a commercial printing/direct mailing company. A majority of my clients are in Chicago and most of my week days are spent in that area. My “search area” for a wonderful person is all points in between. If distance worries you, I can assure you that in regular traffic, it is 1hr 20mins from Rkfd to the Ohio St. exit (that’s nuthin!). But because my company and (most) of my family is in this area, I’m not looking to soon move across the country. That’s what trips are for! Just a few other tidbits of me: I’m allergic to cats, dust mites and bullsh!t. There is o-t-c meds for the cats and dust, but nothing for the BS. If you talk and I sneeze – I know you’re lying! I just can't fully trust a person who won't eat spicy food. Turnoffs: large credit card debt, lack of common sense, schizophrenia (being a "mean drunk") I can't stand "Kissy Face" photos. Grow up, Zoolander. I don’t mind women who are high-maintenance. If I looked that good, I’d expect a lot too! (Just be deserving of it, that’s all I ask). Don’t be too uptight. Nobody’s perfect – I’m very sarcastic – and my best jokes are about myself. Being overly critical of your own body is a major turnoff. Just remember: if you and I are dating, there is a 100 percent chance I think you are stunning! You're either laid back, or outgoing. Can't be both, Chief. Every Sunday, I celebrate my favorite holiday: Sweatpants Sunday. And that's my pizza night, must be pie-cut. I love first dates…but I’m not going to lie: my favorites are the ones that come after.
