Basically, I teach for a living. I enjoy it; I'm rather thankful that I stumbled into this profession after having no clue what I wanted to do for the majority of my life. I amuse myself by implementing silly things like 'Waldo Wednesday',' in which my students are supposed to wear stripes. I managed to spread 'Purple Thursdays' to my climbing gym, which is easy to manage because my shoes and harness are both purple.
I will probably try to make you climb, seeing how lately I've tried to force pretty much everyone I know to try it. My coworkers, my neighbors, my 56 year old parents - you get the picture. I've made most of my friends through climbing. I just started climbing outdoors, so I'm looking forward to when the weather warms up and it's back to weekends at Seneca. I'm also into backpacking and canoeing/kayaking and I want to do some more caving. I like the normal things, too, like playing bridge with octogenarians and going to Ezra Furman concerts.
