I'm very laid back but career driven, emotionally balanced and financially independent. I love to laugh and I easily find humor in difficult situations. I'm a flip-flops and jeans kind of girl but have been known to dress to suit any occasion when I have to. I've been described as "what you see is what you get", loyal with a heart of gold, a great listener, someone that can turn a crappy situation into a day of laughter, brutally honest but tactful, and occasionally sarcastic (depending on who you ask, some may say frequently sarcastic :). I've raised two great boys who are away at college - they have been my anchors in life and I've been blessed to have great relationships with them. I love listening to live music (anything from country to classic rock) however with that said, I'm really not into the bar scene (although I do love an occasional grapefruit martini with a steak dinner). I'm content with my life but would like to find someone to share adventures with as well as even the small things life has to offer.
Some of my favorite things: a good thunderstorm, a great book, beaches/water, sunsets, travel (I've filled two passports), Harley rides, baseball (love the YANKEES), college basketball, football (loyal to the BRONCOS since I was a little girl), excellent steak and laughter (I love the occasional dirty joke too). I plan to get back into diving in the near future.
My ideal guy is confident without being self-absorbed; affectionate; values honesty and integrity; likes sports but can discuss a number of topics; can make me think on a different level; can make me laugh without trying too hard; enjoys life to the fullest; would share the last M&M and can deal effectively with the curves life throws at them. Being an occasional smart-ass definitely earns bonus points ;)
