I am not one who looks or searches for someone because I feel if you try too hard, then you're just forcing it and you end up settling. However, I figured I'd try this to see what else is out there besides the same fixtures at the bar every weekend and meet new people. Im told you can't meet a good person at the bar and I don't agree with that, however I believe there is some truth to it.
It would be nice to meet someone who is down-to-earth, fun, intelligent, has her priorities straight and doesnt know every guy in the city.
About me. Well, I am a trustworthy, loyal and helpful person. I tend to put off some of my own things in order to help friends and family, but I like doing it. I'm kind of quiet or shy at first and that sometimes comes across as cocky or arrogant to others who may not know me. Once you get to know me, I can be witty, sarcastic and fun. I am very open and firm about things I believe in and tend to tell it like it is. I'm a realist.
I am very close with my family and that is important to me. When it comes down to it, they're the ones who will always have my back.
I love sports, but I'm not a freak about it like most guys. Im not gonna lose sleep if I miss the game and I dont do fantasy football. Favorite sports are basketball and football, in that order. Everything else is just mediocre to me.
Even though I have a desk job, I also enjoy working with my hands and getting dirty. My ambition is rehabbing homes, having completed two of my own so far.
I'm down to earth, laid back and can enjoy doing mostly anything as long as it's in the right company.
