I'm a romantic at heart and like being silly, adventurous, and surprising my love with little gestures. I'm excited to be with someone who I can laugh and play around with. Watch out though, because I pounce like a cat!
I'm looking for someone who will embrace love with an open heart, challenge me intellectually, and show true devotion and loyalty to family, friends and self. I want to be with a woman who will be honest and communicates well with others. Like me, she should be independent but social, share interests with me but have her own passions. Moreover, she is reflective and able to grow from experiences. A goal of our relationship will be to help each other become better people in the world. I'm interested in a woman who knows who she is and what she wants but is always seeking to learn new things. She must be open-minded and flexible, but strong and witty. My career is important to me and I love it. I've been teaching high school art for ten years now and I'm grateful every day for having the opportunity to do exactly what I love. It allows me to stay active in art and learn while teaching - I learn a lot from my students and enjoy the interaction. I recently started teaching college classes too. Perhaps someday, I'll permanently move into higher education, but for now teaching high school is great. I also personal train on the side- so if you're looking for a trainer, just say the word(wink wink). While my career is a dream come true, I try to nurture my passions as often as I can (yay for summers off!)
I have a wide range of music interests (extremely eclectic collection ranging from Indie to electronic), love watching movies (Eternal Sunshine and the Spotless Mind may be my favorite) and have a few favorite tv shows: The Office, True Blood, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and How I Met Your Mother.
I live an active and healthy life style. When I'm not making art or music, I am usually training for a race or playing some sort of recreational sport like football or kickball. Holler if you were a gym class hero- woot woot!
