I believe it’s important to try different things in life, to escape your comfort zone so that you can discover who you really are, at least at the moment of discovery. Life is about growth, and growth requires the courage to change your mind, admit mistakes, and start over. I moved to the United States about 12 years ago from Eastern Europe, and have been traveling around ever since. Will I stop? It don't know... I studied Anthropology at University of Virginia, worked as an interpreter in New York city, was a cocktail waitress in DC, and am now in Nursing School in Pittsburgh. I've been here since August and have not been able to get a clear picture of the city..So far, my exploration has mostly consisted of taking the wrong bridge or tunnel, ending up in some obscure township and asking people for directions...then having a beer with them and learning something about the local history. I enjoy traveling and can’t get enough of it. One of my favorite places in the world is New York City, because its a congregation of many different countries in one area..I take the train there once in a few month to get loaded up on bizarre city scenery. When I'm not going to New York, I like checking out live music (jazz and blues preferably, but really anything except pop and country), watching movies, reading. I'm a proponent of a healthy lifestyle, but not to the extreme...Running a marathon is good, but few drinks won't hurt anyone, you know what I mean? As to the “someone” I respect people who take responsibility for their actions, those who are able to deal with their problems and emotions on their own…not at the expense of others. I like people who have a sense of humor about life....its necessary. Anyway, it would be nice to have someone show me around and see where it goes from there:)
