I never under estimate the power of the following: vacations, cappuccino, comedy, observing the drunk & oblivious, good dancing by professionals (not the ones on a pole), holidays with the fam, the beach, chocolate, NYC, champagne, a delicious dinner with friends; getting on a plane to...well, anywhere (except North Dakota, there's no reason to go there); And finally, the use of parenthesis (right?).
I am a pretty funny lady. I'm independent and goal-oriented. I try to keep things light, but I like to get stuff done too so it takes some balance. Work can be crazy, so sometimes I need to check-out and be ridiculous. And by ridiculous, I mean there will be wine or vodka or champagne, amazing friends and the potential for blackmail material. I've basically aged-out of the party/nightclub scene & enjoy actually having a conversation at my destination, so you probably won't run into me at "the club." I am beginning to realize that aging is a blessing & that life is short, we should make it count.
What I am looking for: Chemistry is the most important factor in finding a match, so while you may be fantastic "on paper," a girl just can't fake it. You have to be funny, so bring your jokes. You have to have a decent amount of integrity. This means if you are morally bankrupt, move along sucka. I am close with my family and have my own friends; I recommend that you do the same. Sure, we can share things, but I think its important for people to have other sources of support, entertainment & companionship outside of a relationship.
While I try to keep an open mind, there are a few things that I will have a hard time seeing past. For example, if you have a "sweet" boat or car that you've invested all your money in, yet you live in your mother's basement..... It's time to grow up, chief, and we should just be friends. Also, my father is 56, so if you're older than him or even within ten years of his age, with all due respect, sir, you're too old for me. That is all.
Full Disclosure: most of my pics we are taken in the last year; I hope yours are too. I'm sarcastic and can be guarded, but sweet and loyal at my core...wait for it.
