I'm a fun, creative, passionate person who lives on and off the beaten path. I've been a professional musician, classroom teacher, and now work in a policy-related nonprofit. I feel really grateful to have a stable, successful, and challenging career that also allows me lots of time and space to pursue other interests and travel. In the past three years I have volunteered in Cambodia, Malawi, and Cuba. This year, I started a project to build an artist residency up north. I thrive with challenges and novelty, but also am content to have quiet nights at home, cooking-- or my new experiment, pickling things from the garden-- reading, and enjoying companionship or solitude, whichever comes my way.
I'm looking for someone who loves life, who is fun and adventurous, with lots of interests and passions of her own. You probably love the arts, the written word, and are really knowledgable in some arcane field or the other. In the end, it's all about bringing out the best in each other. I'd love to learn new things together, push each other to try new things, and laugh until we cry.
