I'm in sales and travel every week. I absolutely love my job, but it doesn't own me. I decided to get on match because the constant traveling has made the dating world a little difficult.
Wine is one of my all time favorite things. It is the cure for any stressful day, semi-stressful day, or good day, makes any dinner I'm cooking better (trust me, that's a plus for you), and could potentially solve the world's problems. (I appreciate beer as well....)
Eventually I want a Husky. I want to name him Denali.
Fall Saturdays are meant for college football, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and always supporting the SEC.
I want to run a half marathon. But every time I start seriously thinking about that statement, it exhausts me. 5K's are my calling right now.
I'm real unproductive in the mornings.
I am directionally challenged. I mean this in every sense of the term. I know you want to "teach me something" or somehow get the lightbulb to click. It won't. Please spare me the 10 minute conversation where you explain Atlanta roads, then we end up looking at an Iphone map. I promise it will end with me nodding and promising you that I suddenly understand how roads connect. I won't.
If you want to teach me something, let's try tennis. I've really been wanting to learn.
My New Year's Resolution was to give up cookies. I don't even like cookies. So, it has been my first successful New Year's Resolution in 26 years. When people ask me what my resolution was, I can proudly state that I'm still following it.
Now, you can ask..."You don't like cookies?" Entirely different conversation.
Modern Family is one of my favorite shows. It cracks me up every time, keeps me entertained episode after episode, and is one of the few shows on TV that is intelligently written. If you don't find it funny, chances are good our humor will not align.
Do I golf? If you're patient. But I am fortunate enough to hit the ball straight (mostly, however distance is not my friend), not walk in your line, understand my turn to putt, and rules of the game. Eventually I start hitting from best ball and drinking beer.
As for my dream job, I would hands down be a spy. I would be horrible at it. So, so bad. But it looks incredibly sexy in the movies.
I've become a bit of a professional traveler. I would say, most girls pack far more than they actually need. I don't. I pack the bare minimum (for my work trips) and can pack in 5 minutes. Also, I've come to really appreciate Hampton Inns. The water bottle and snack they leave in your room is wonderful. Coffee and tea 24/7? A breakfast buffet that doesn't get old due to the endless choices even though you're there every week? It's the little things. I could rant about this all day....
What I'm looking for.....
- Someone who is independent, driven, motivated in their career, and most importantly, likes to have a good time.
- Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously, but who realizes what the important things are.
- Someone who can make me laugh...every single day.
- Someone I don't have to socially babysit.
- Sarcasm. I need sarcasm in my life.
- Someone who knows the difference between there, their and they're, plus your and you're.
- Someone who can challenge me.
- If you can't grill, need not apply.
I admit I'm not perfect. I have flaws. I'm always trying to grow, and am looking for someone to do the same. Everyone has beliefs and habits that are pretty set in stone at this point in our lives. I'm probably not going to change yours, and you're probably not going to change mine.
