First of all i hate writing these things because i always feel like i sound like a string of vague cliches... "Looking to meet someone who can make me laugh and wants to share some new experiences. I love to cook and eat and exercise and watch movies.". Then I feel like I should be more specific... "I'm an assistant editor for a television show, who has a side business making hula hoops and selling them on the Internet." That sounds weird. I'm not a crazy hippie. Maybe I should talk more about what I want. "I want to meet someone confident who knows what they want and is on their way to getting it.". But that sounds so serious. I might scare people off. So no pressure. " I'm hoping for someone to hang out with me while I watch baseball games and CSI reruns and knows the difference between lose and loose, and that my friends like as much as me". Don't worry their standards aren't that high.
