You looked, and so let's assume I'm luckier than most. And, I think you'll like me. I don't swear, I don't spit, and I don't head-butt friends (or foes), at least in the presence of a lady, and I try to be an all-around gentleman. I'm very open to occasional constructive criticism, though I'd like to place heavy emphasis on the word "occasional".
I had a friend recently tell me that I'm a good egg. Don't know exactly what that means, but I assume it's better than being a bad egg. So, while we all need to grow, I'm good with who I am.
I hold the core belief that people are basically good. I prefer original music over cover bands, local restaurants over chains, and believe that talking politics is a waste of good social time. I believe in keeping "Austin Weird", which basically means "support local businesses", so don't expect our first meeting to be at The Cheesecake Factory. I believe that the boxer is man's best friend - I've got one to prove it, and her name is Phoebe. If I'm unable to win you over, she's my secret weapon.
I've been in tennis leagues for as long as I can remember. I've played ultimate, flag football, basketball, and hope to find the time to take these up again someday. I like to visit places where a good cardiovascular hike will be on the agenda, and I am game for any kind of outdoor activity, especially if adrenaline is required. I take at least one good ski trip every year, but try to split vacation time between the alpine and the sea.
Here's what I'm looking for: You enjoy spending time outdoors. You are not just looking to settle down, but you want to find someone to share life's great adventure with. You are affectionate (even in the public) and you love to cuddle, and it you'll know how to set me on fire when the time is right.
I work hard to keep myself in good shape, and plan to find someone is as serious about that as I am.
