I’ve been bitten by the superhero movie bug lately (and I can't wait for the ultimate superhero movie next year, The Avengers, as well as the Dark Knight Rises!). Perhaps because it’s such a far cry from my day job in software development. Texas is home, but I have to admit I miss my college days in Maryland, being able to walk to anything I needed. I love quiet nights enjoying food with friends, battling over a board game, or just curled up with a good book.
I just recently moved to California for a new job, and I am loving it here! I was a bit nervous about moving to a new place with no friends and what not, but I don't have any regrets about it. I've gotten my apartment just the way I like it, and I've started adding paintings and prints of fantasy and science fiction books and movies. It's a slow process, but one worth doing well.
