I'm fun, funny (sometimes it's pretty dorky humor), and believe strongly in making the best of any situation. I love animals and if you're not a fan or aren't interested in learning more about them, you should most definitely stop reading!
I love a good adventure and traveling. I miss the days of doing marine biology/ecology research. I still try to get traveling in where I can and enjoy outdoor activities especially scuba diving. I grew up in California, so skiing is also on the top of my list for fun activities…bring me powder and I'm a happy girl!
I'm loyal and close to my friends and family. When I'm not traveling or engrossed in work, you can usually find me cooking/baking with my buddies, out at a museum, hitting the dance floor (I love salsa and hip hop equally and everything in between, thought I don't promise to be good at it), exploring the city, and eating some good food. I travel multiple times a year to California, Portland, and Hawaii to visit family.
I'm a pretty laid back person and love nothing more than a good laugh with friends. I have a strong sense of self and know what I want out of life.

It's easy to find someone you have physical attraction with in NYC, but I'm looking for that spark and chemistry that will lead to something more permanent and meaningful. Don't get me wrong! ;) Physical attraction is extremely important, but I'm looking for someone with shared interests, values, and curiosity about the world. It's important to me that you are looking for the same. I'm the type of girl that is equally comfortable at a black tie event with strangers as I am on the beach in a bikini with coronas or covered in mud on a good hike….it would be nice if I could find the same in a partner! Life is meant to be fun and an adventure. It's just the icing on the cake to have someone to share it with.
