Let's see...
I am originally from Buffalo, and this is the Bills year (I've been saying that since 7th grade). Over the past few years I've moved around quite a bit, by the end of the summer it will have been 7 moves in 2 years. After roughly 9 yrs in nyc, I left to pursue my MBA. I moved back to NYC for a 4 month internship, then to Buenos Aires for 4 month study abroad and then back upstate again to complete the degree...I just graduated in June, accepted a new job and have a new apartment... The transient life is over.
My nickname during grad school was grandpa... Which was, awesome... Crazy kids and their rock and roll music.
I have a loud laugh.
My parents are from Argentina, I'm first generation. My extended family still lives there; steak, wine and soccer, its a pretty amazing place. I'm the youngest of four children. I have a brother and two sisters who no matter what, still treat me like the "little brother." No, I was not spoiled - Yes, I got away with murder.
I did a summer study in Oxford during undergrad, loved it so much, that upon graduation I packed a backpack, moved to London and lived there for 8 months.
For fun I play club lacrosse and coach youth leagues, and after spending a lot of time with 13-16yr old boys... God help us all. I'm looking forward to re-joining the coaching group I was a part of in the city. I've done a few triathlons and an Urbanathlon; although the past 2 yrs with school has made it a bit tougher to stay as involved.
I'm an uncle and my niece recently taught me how to "snail" when you bump fists... She's 9 and I've since taught every 30 yr old I know. Debbie Harry ("Blondie") saw me in my underwear once... Just thought I'd throw that in there.
I still have some of the same friends now that I had in kindergarten, and over the past two years have made friends I'll have forever. I am easily distracted by dogs on the street... I had a lab growing up, and really want to get a dog again soon. Weird segue there, but I have a touch of self diagnosed ADD as well. I have a bike.
As for what I am looking for; It's pretty much summed up in Bill Withers' "Lovely Day." If you know the song, then bonus points for you.
