I am really just kind of laid back. I grew up in the "Corn Fields" of Illinois and was raised to always be a Gentleman. Always be courteous and kind to everyone no matter what kind of attitude they may have. I like to hold and open doors and of course ladies first. I am not rude. I feel that I am a confident person. Just be yourself and respect everyone. Take your time and don't be in a rush.
Looking for a friendship and hopefully becoming a true relationship. Sometimes I just like to kick back, cook a great meal and enjoy a movie at home. Holy cow! there are so many things. Still adding on as I go along. Oh, I have always wanted to go on a Hot Air Balloon Ride.OK, I was told to add on the my profile to let you know a little more about myself. I has been 25 years since I have done this but it is cool to get out there and share what I have as a person. Honestly, to me it is like I am back years ago on meeting new people and being nervous and a little shy. Realistically, I think this is awesome. I always believe in transparency and most of all honesty, which I know that everyone on MATCH feels the same. I am definitely a people person, I don't let drama or baggage get to me because there is ALWAYS some out there but it is OK. Don't sweat the small things in life always, always walk with your head held high. There are so many many things that I would like to do or accomplish that the list is too long. I would love to have someone share these experiences with me. As my profile line states I still honestly believe that experiencing a new friendship can lead to a wonderful, happy relationship. For me I am retired from the Coast Guard and now work for a great city in San Diego County. I have a wonderful 17 year old daughter that is killing me but she does keep me sane, even though she tends to get tickets (3) for talking on her cell phone in the car. What crazy city does that? The one I work for!! She is my world and I have been blessed.
Anyway, I hope that you like my profile and I will have to keep adding on.
Some of the photos I posted is a very important part of my life and that is always family. I would like whoever it may be see what a crazy, hilarious group of people that you ever would meet. They always drop me from laughing to hard and puts me into tears. Our family is a great gift that we should always cherish.
Anywho, I am completely new at this so I keep adding on..I am a neat "Freek" (not crazy neat) My daughter always states, "Why should I do it Dad because I know you will". Drives me nuts! Spoiled! But, she is the most important young lady in the world to me.
I do miss a good Thunderstorm and watching the leaves change color in the fall.
And I don't know why but I love walking around in my bare feet.
