I am not a complicated person. I am pretty laid back and don't believe in drama, so I won't cause any, and don't really want to be with someone who does. Life is too precious to waste being negative. I am honest and loyal, and deisre those traits in a companion. I've been told that I'm honest, almost to a fault. I am pretty well organized about most things. Dependability is probably my best trait. I absolutely do not believe in infidelity. Nothing can be gained from cheating except drama. I've worked for the same company for over 21 years. I have a good career with good benefits. I pay all of my bills on time (early most of the time, lol). I am financially stable and could provide a good lifestyle for a partner. I've come to realize through life, that the character of a person is much more important than the car they drive or the house they live in. I will splurge occasionally for a weekend trip or an all day outing with my friends. I love to buy flowers, cards, little gifts, etc. for my partner to let her know I appreciate her. I feel that I am a mature person. I've lived through a lot of life lessons, and I feel that I've learned and have grown from each one. I don't like to play games. If something is on your mind, tell me! Because you can best believe that if something is on mine, I'm going to tell you! lol If I have chemistry with someone, and they are dependable and honest, I feel that we can work through anything. I really desire a companion who is very supportive. If it's important to me, it should be important to her, and vice versa (you have my back and I'll have yours). I am fairly active. I work out a couple of times a week, and play softball and flag football for nationally ranked teams. My flag football team won the 2011 35 over National Championship! Yeah! lol I travel to all parts of the Southeast U.S. for tournaments with these teams, so it gives me a reason to take mini-vacations on a regular basis. :-) I think my active lifestyle helps keep me young. Many people think I am much younger than I really am. One requirement I have for relationships is affection. If I am in a monogamous relationship with someone, I love to show and/or receive affection, even if it's just a hand on the knee during a car ride. If my partner doesn't show affection, then I feel that there must be something wrong. A hug and kiss for no reason is just wonderful! I am very family-oriented. I come from a very loving family, so that's the only way I know how to live. A strong family is how one learns unconditional love. My family is very religious. I was raised in Church, and those values are still very much instilled in me today. I visit my family in Bowling Green as much as I can. I do not currently have children, but would very much love to be a father again someday. And in case any of you are wondering why I'm 43 and don't have children, I had a son who I lost in an automobile accident a few years back. I've had time to heal and feel pretty good about trying to start a family again. I prefer non-smokers. I would like to have a child (or children). I don't like clutter, but it's not necessarily a deal breaker, just not preferred. I don't prefer a person who is "needy", rather a strong, independent woman who can stand on her own, but who "appreciates" the little things instead of "needing" the little things. I will close by saying that I don't "need" to find someone to be with. I am very independent and enjoy time alone and time with my friends. I am happy and content with my life right now. But, I would absolutely LOVE to find that one special person to share it with. I am just a little rough around the edges and definitely need a "woman's touch". :)
