To start off - I promise not to have our first date broadcast on national TV. How do they get people to sign up for those commercials anyway?? I just moved to DC and was guilted into creating this profile by my friends so I could meet some new people stop forcing the three people I know in the city to happy hour every night.
Originally, I'm from Miami. I came to DC to kick off my career as a non profit lawyer love my job. I can often be found cooking up a storm (Italian or Latin) and enjoying a glass of wine (I enjoy anything from high brow to wine in a box). I love staying active and being on a wellness kick to keep me happy. I'm a "yes" girl and can be found signing up for things that I don't know anything about. Life's short, why not?
Full confession: my DVR has an unhealthy amount of reality TV on it, but it's balanced out by the American History books on my bookshelf. I come from a close knit Hispanic family love spending time with my sisters and our dogs. Don't worry, my "spicy latina-ness" only comes out when necessary =).
My perfect date is a take-charge gentleman, who appreciates Jon Stewart or Dexter is passionate about what they do. He is active able to keep up with my silly side. I'm not looking for a cookie cutter checklist, just someone who appreciates my sense of humor and will do anything on a dare.
