I am originally from Colorado, so I'm a mountain girl at heart. I've lived in big cities now since I was 19 so I've grown comfortable around the concrete jungle and rather quite enjoy the excitement of finding new restaurants, going to art schindigs and pretty much anything that is interesting, entertaining and educational! I have lived in NYC, Paris, Geneva and now Philadelphia of course. I studied business and journalism in college in Europe and started grad school out there as well. I moved to Philly for work about 5 years ago.
I would like to find someone who shares my love of travel and food and wine. I used to be incredibly picky before I moved to Europe and now pretty much love every kind of food with the exception of a few. Sardines, ketchup (weird, i know), oysters, cold soup, caviar and raw beef chuck are still the foods I've never really learned to appreciate. I could drink wine and champagne pretty much everyday if not for the not-very-healthy factor. I also really love cake. And I can bake a pretty mean one as well. In fact, one of my favorite things to do is bake and share my treats with my friends and family ;)
I love to ski and play tennis. I also really like to go to spin class and run during the warmer months outside. I'm currently running my first 5k in April so super excited! It's the Zombie run so I'll get to be chased by zombies for motivation! lol. I'm sort of a winter girl at heart so I absolutely love the snow and cold. Not to say that I don't enjoy the summer. I love going to Miami and the beach with my family and friends! And I love swimming out in the ocean for hours. Scuba diving and snorkling are awesome.
I would really like to find someone who compliments my life. And who, together we make each other better and stronger people. I'm in a pretty good place in my life and I've worked really hard to be where I am, and without sounding abhorrent, I would like a partner who is on the same level as me financially and socially. I've really traveled everywhere and lived abroad for 10 years so it's hard for me to find anything in common with the average Joe. I need someone who likes to explore and search and a true partner in crime! I also love a man who opens doors and shows some manners and treats others as he would want to be treated. I also can really kick back at a local pub and let loose when life gets too serious. I'm also really affectionate so that is an added bonus if you like to cuddle and kiss in public.
I am the youngest of 5 kids and am very close with all my siblings. We all live in different parts of the country so we try to get together a few times a year when possible. My 2 sisters are absolutely my best friends.
Overall, I feel very comfortable with my life and the people in it, but would really like to find that one person with whom we can share our lives. They say that every lid has it's pot, so here's to hoping we find ours!
