Let's see here...I currently work in the medical field and am planning on going back to school for another degree. I was born and raised in New York...not the city but Rochester, in Western NY. My family and friends mean everything to me. I come from a big family and my nieces and nephew are just the best little people ever. I like to go out here and there but also enjoy staying home and watching movies with a glass of wine. I don't know how to cook many things but would like to learn. It's not much fun cooking for just yourself. I love to laugh and have a sarcastic sense of humor. If you're easily offended then you should probably keep looking. Music is important to me and has gotten me through a lot. I listen to all types of music- except heavy metal (If the artist is essentially screaming unintelligibly into the mic I don't see the purpose of that). I like to be active and outside when the weather allows and sometimes even when it doesn't. I can be shy at first but tend to warm up pretty quickly. I've been through a lot in 27 years and I wouldn't take any of it back as it's made me who I am today. I believe in honesty, without it you have no basis for much else. I am an open book so if you have any questions feel free to ask them!
Who I'm looking for....I don't have a specific "dream guy" in mind but if you can make me laugh that is a great start! Someone who can carry on an intelligent conversation is a must (although I do admit to being a sucker for celebrity gossip). I can be shy at first but tend to have a strong personality after I get to know someone. If you're extremely timid or shy it most likely won't work. You should probably like animals since I have dogs and cats (and they aren't going anywhere, you'll be out the door before they are- no offense). I like to explore new places so someone who has an adventurous side and likes to explore would be good. I work a lot of different hours in my profession and you have to accept that (I do need a paycheck after all) but I always make time for my significant other, family and friends etc.
