I've been described as overwhelmingly optimistic (as in, "you'd even be happy in a gulag because, hey, at least you get to be outdoors").
My family's from Lebanon, but I grew up in the US for the most part.
I did my undergrad in LA, worked in NY for a while (sold my soul to investment banking), then did my PhD in England (redeemed my soul with cancer research). I finished in April and moved back to the US to work in the glorious field of management consulting (which puts my soul in purgatory, I think).
I'm genuinely not the 'do just enough to get by' type, but I've reached my 200-character minimum :-)
