I am a single Dad who raised 4 wonderful young people on my own. I have three daughters who are 26, 25, 24 and my son is 21. Years ago I made a decision to get them all through college before I turned my attention to me.
My daughters have graduated (TCU, Biola, and CSUF) and are all married now to great men. My son is a junior at Univ of Oregon. So just me and two dogs left at home.
I am 59 and try to take care of myself. I like going to the gym each evening after work. On weekends I like to do something active outdoors. Have not got the hang of paddle boarding yet, but I am working on it.
I am looking for someone with interests and values that are close to mine. Someone to laugh with, have fun with, and share a life with.
I enjoy golfing, snow skiing, water skiing, bike riding, hiking, fishing and just about anything outdoors. I am handy and like to do projects, big and small. I built a bedroom and a den out of what was a great room in my home. I love to cook. I think that came from being a single Dad and wanting my kids to eat healthy and enjoy all kinds of different foods.
I taught Sunday school for ten years (K and 1st grade) and have encouraged my kids to serve on many mission trips all over the world. I'm a sports fan. Nothing better than hockey down at center Ice. Go Ducks. I love going to Lakers or Angels games. And NFL Prime Ticket is the best! I enjoy going to plays in both NY and LA. I have been to Phantom, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Spam-A-Lot, a Christmas Carol and a lot of others.
Long walks on the beach are great. I take my dogs to "stairs" down by San Onofre about once a month.
For work I build then sell businesses and have been doing that since I was 30. Have one I am about to sell now and two more in the build phases.
I desire a relationship full of joy and passion without a lot of drama. I want to be with a woman who desires to be honored, loved and treasured and who wants to give back the same. Mostly I want to find someone to enjoy all parts of our life together. Being a single Dad wasn't the plan I had for my life, but I wouldn't trade it.
For the last 15 years my focus has been on raising healthy well adjusted kids. Now I am an empty nester and want to focus on the next chapter of my life, which to me means finding someone special to share it with.
