i am a jock-nerd - or at least that's what my friends say. i played soccer, baseball, and tennis growing up and all these activities gave me an amazing pair of calves apparently :) "Calf-man Kim", that's what the ladies call me.....i am active - i play soccer, love snowboarding, traveling (i last went to indonesia and visited 1 of the 3000 islands out there....very interesting!), and i am adventurous and spontaneous. work hard play hard is my mentality and life is too short not to enjoy every second, right! recently, i have made an awesome career change from business to healthcare where i hope to run my own business, and that will enable me to live and share with that special someone, the balanced and fun lifestyle i desire, possibly in europe or asia. the career change is tough, but no pain, no gain, right?!! i enjoy art (impressionism is my fav), photography(new hobby), theater (saw many plays while studying abroad in london and one night walked into, "oedipus and euripides" which was basically naked people all over the stage in that version...i was 20 and started chuckling b/c i did not expect it - that did not go well with the proper english theatre goers!), but also enjoy kicking back at times, relaxing with friends - it's not the place but the company, right?, or listening to music - british rock and rock lately influenced by the big sis (thank god she enlightened my taste) like the strokes, phoenix, mgmt, cold war kids, and surfer's blood, vampire weekend....and some old school a tribe called quest, jodeci, pet shop boys, cure, new order, and depeche mode.
i am a modern gent, but i don't think chivalry is dead, like many dudes today. i want to take care of my lady and put her on the pedestal she deserves. yet, i value an independent woman whether she wants a high-powered career or cherishes taking care of the familia.
