Hi...I'm going to be real with you. I feel like I'm giving you the elevator pitch for a job interview, but this one is a lot more personal ; )
Life is short and I've lived quite a bit already. I've lived/worked abroad, and consider myself well educated. I have a white-collar job, while at the same time I'm a blue-collar man at heart. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, yet feel like I can use my mind to think and be creative when the situation arises. I love to read.
I share all of this with you because I like women that are confident and secure in their own skin. This is not the same as having an inflated ego or a disrespectful attitude, which is a major turnoff.
I listen, and when I do, I look at you. I'm not surfing on my phone, or distracted by those passing by.
I swim on a pretty consistent basis. Played football in HS (seems like yesterday) so that is the broad-shoulder build that mother nature has given me. I'm not a Greek God, unless there's a version out there that comes with a bit of a love handle!
Obviously, if I'm contacting you, you have a spark - whether it's physical or perhaps something that I've read -that's lit my interest. I'm interested in having a conversation, getting a coffee/beer - basically, starting off slowly. Believe it or not, if we meet up, I'll enter it with the best of intentions and no expectations. It's an opportunity to meet one more interesting person, and I'm always open for that.
