At 50 this year I am happy, healthy and fortunate to be living a great life. I have a job I enjoy that is challenging and rewarding, yet
allows me time to pursue my other interests, like lampworking (making glass beads), working on my house, entertaining friends, and just enjoying life.
I would describe myself as intelligent, grounded, thoughtful, kind, caring, forgiving, fun to be around, flexible, dependable; I am a
positive, upbeat gal, with depth and wit, I love to laugh and can laugh at myself, often do. I am independent and judge the fullness of life not by what I own (or what you own) but by the compassion shown, the fun had, the sorrows survived, the growth that happens.
The disclaimers would be I talk to my three little dogs when I am home alone, I can be fine having potato chips and wine for dinner even though I am a great cook. I sing out loud with my ipod while I walk (but only if there is no one else on the street. :). I don't enjoy housework, but I keep a tidy home, but it takes some motivational music.
I love to watch the sky, stars and clouds, but have to be careful not to walk into things while I am looking up. :) I pay attention to colors and sunlight and try to incorporate what I see into my beads or my surroundings.
I am a versatile professional with a job that presents challenges, rewards, and growth everyday. I work as a manager in a very busy, high paced environment and every day presents something new to learn and do.
I like people from all walks of life, and have all sorts of friends.
I believe it is important to be healthy and fit physically as well as emotionally and spiritually and work to be that
way in my everyday life. There is always time to be kind to a friend, have a laugh, or take a deep breath and relax.
I grew up in Cincinnati, but love to travel away from here and see what everyone else is up to. Some favorite places are Mexico City, Ontario, Florida and long drives to just about anywhere.I lov e to go hiking and still like to go creeking like when I was a
After years of teaching religious studies at UC and XU and 50 years of life, my religious views are probably best classified as eclectic, deep, committed and grounded in the basic values of the worlds great religions. I am fine with others views that may be more mainstream,. Be nice and show kindness where and however we can and try to do the right thing seems to sum it up for me,
I would love to have an honest and fun relationship with a mature and thoughtful, open, witty man who is smart, whole, healthy and happy. I enjoy talking and listening, and getting to know a person through spending time together learning new things, sharing about our lives, travel and all the things that make life full and meaningful. Would love to find someone with whom I can laugh, cry, talk or just be quiet around. I would love to meet a man who is creative in his approach to life and still open to learning, and would like to share things he knows as well as learn new things together. It would be great fun to fall in love again, once and for all!
