Funny, I write and edit for a living, but somehow writing about myself seems ... awkward. I'll do my best.
I grew up in the Midwest and I'm pretty laid-back, but I have a hard time sitting still (short attention span, maybe? I blame working on the Internet). I love to travel, run and explore the city. Sometimes NY's lack of trees gets to me (see: Midwest), so I'm all for weekend field trips. My family and I are close and I wish I got to see them more-especially my hilarious and adorable nieces, with whom I'm trying to maintain Favorite Aunt status.
I'm interested in meeting people who don't take themselves too seriously and can find something to laugh about in just about any situation, even when slightly inappropriate.
I recently read someone describe online dating as an "awesome disaster." Here's hoping it leans towards the awesome side...
