I love art and learning. Creativity has helped me to appreciate the unpredictable, let go of perfectionism, and to better love surprises. You don't have to like my work for me to like you, but I'd hope you'd at least appreciate the arts. It would be cool if we could check out museums and art shows together some time. Hiking buddies would also be nice.
Part of my Libra balancing act is being half-child and half-adult. This shows up in my humor, in my interests, and in my outlook. I can get excited about really simple things, but I can also discuss very complex or abstract subjects. I'm as comfortable talking about philosophy or science with adults, as I am discussing superheroes with a child. My artist nature regards it as a healthy and necessary way to live. I believe it fosters a sense of wonder and exploration. If you don't, we probably won't get along. Just know that I promise not to embarrass you at a dinner party by talking about Batman. No matter how badly I'd want to try...
Staying fit keeps me active without pain. I want the freedom to be able to start up anything with a new friend/date, and not pull a muscle doing it. Extreme sports aren't my thing. Maybe I'm just easily amused without an adrenaline rush. And while I'm in good shape, you won't find me running any marathons. I can think of better things to do for 4 hours or more. (What?! I meant painting and sleeping...) I'm more about balance. Hopefully, a potential partner would be interested in taking care of herself, so we can go out and share activities. And stay in, and share activities. (Okay, THAT time I meant something else...)
I am not religious, and I'm not overly political. If either of those are critically important to you in terms of defining yourself, then we may not be the best match. Sense of humor is definitely more important. Music is also a great passion of mine, and going to concerts is fun. It would be great if we found out we have any favorite bands in common. If you are quirky, open-minded, patient, fit, and compassionate, I'd like to hear from you!
