About me:
I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA. After college and a few years at a startup, I moved to San Diego, CA. I spent ten wonderful years in San Diego. I had some terrific job opportunities, I made life-long friends, and just really enjoyed the city and the people.
Two years ago, I moved for Orange County for work. I can find my way around, and I actually like it pretty well here. It still does not feel quite like home, the way La Jolla did. One of the major attractions for me in Orange County is the network of bike paths. I appreciate the way I can take bike paths around the city, to the shopping areas, and to Irvine/Inland, without co-mingling with traffic. Sometimes, I bike to the office.
How I spend my time:
With a new (to me) dog, a 1.5 year siberian husky, I have been spending a lot of time walking, running, and biking with the dog! Otherwise, I like working out at the gym, relaxing with a good Netflix movie, playing sports, or enjoying my motorsports hobbies.
I work in technology, as a consultant, and specialize in enterprise and cloud architecture (large-scale software high-level design). I find the work engaging, and I have been fortunate to do amazing projects for some of the largest and most innovative companies. Although I find the technology work that I do fascinating, I do have many other interests, outside of technology. These include: politics/government, law, professional sports, and aviation. Some day, I may find a way to combine interests, but for the moment, I am more than happy.
