Looking for the "right one", but if all that happens is I meet some wonderful people than I will be happy and feel like I am way ahead of the game.
What do I say here that will get the ‘right” woman’s attention?....I’ve got an idea…how about the truth…I am very honest, straight forward guy with lots of energy. I’m in very good shape – actually the best shape of my life. Men 20 years younger struggle keeping up with me. I look 10-years younger than I am (and act like it too ;-) with most of my hair. I’m articulate, handsome (you judge), affectionate and caring, passionate, confident, supportive, playful and a hopeless romantic ;) I’m at the point of my life where I do not need to keep rushing around. I like having time to truly relax and enjoy the small wonderful things in life. Like a lazy Sunday afternoon or a weekend wine tasting, sailing or spending time at the beach. I actually like to cook, and am marginally successful at it, but not about to quit my day job. I much prefer an authentic, off the beaten path, ethnic restaurant, to one on the main drag. Some things I find very attractive in a woman are confidence, sensuality, physically in shape, affectionate, playful and mischievous, romantic, has compassion for others and does not take herself too seriously. I also love a woman who is competitive. At a minimum, someone who can keep up with me. Even better, someone who can outdo me. I really need a woman that can carry herself well and I am looking for someone with a natural beauty. I look for someone similar in interests but who has their own life and sees a partner as an addition/compliment to their life rather than being their whole life. I have a lot to offer someone but I want it to be the right one and I’d rather wait for that one. I am not totally picky, but I really know what I am looking for. PS I love sailing, paddle boarding, scuba and skiing. (I would hope you love the ocean and outdoors as much as me).
I value my family, and relish being an involved dad to my 11-yr old daughter who lives with me mostly full time. She is the center of my universe, and I would sincerely hope that if I were to meet the “right” woman, that she would love my daughter just as much as me and be able to make her part of her life as well. Heck, maybe even like her better and will just put up with me! I love children and am open to having more. My faith is very important to me as well. While we don’t get to church every Sunday (we try), it is still top of mind and I would hope my future partner would share this Christian faith.
*** Please note that I live in Orange County, and custody of my daughter is dependent on me remaining in the county. I can move within the county, but relocating outside of OC is not an option. Also, I am not into tattoos. I am sorry, not sure what my hang-up is, but if you have one, we are probably not a match.
