(( NOTE: If I've winked at you, please see the note at the end of my profile! )) Don't let my headline fool you. I'm very much a realist. But I also believe just about anything is possible! In any event, although I'm very serious about finding my match and falling in love, I'm not looking to start a family very soon. So if you're over 34-ish (or you're younger but in a rush to start a family), we're probably not right for each other. It's just a timing thing. The fact is, I'm just now finally approaching the point where I will have both the financial freedom and the time flexibility to think about doing some of the stuff I haven't been able to do nearly enough of. One of those things is traveling. I'm particularly keen on seeing a lot of Asia as well as Europe (at least for starters). And perhaps its cliche, but I want to fall madly in love while visiting such places over the next 2-3 years with that special person. THEN it's time to build a family. Know what I mean?
Ok, so here are some random things about me that may or may not impress your pants right off! Just kidding...sort of. ;)
But seriously, I can drive a stick-shift, change a tire, and parallel park with the best of 'em. I'm handy around the house (yes, I have a toolbox), can set up any electronics, put furniture together, paint a room, kill bugs, etc. I'm not the best cook in the world, but I do have my specialties. Or when my gal prefers to do the cooking, I have no problem dealing with the dishes. Overall, I tend to be unselfish with my partner, both in life and in love. Showing you more specifically what that means will be part of the fun!
By the way, I'm certainly not looking for a female version of myself. That would be creepy! But we do need to share some similar tendencies in a relationship, right? For example, it's important that I find someone who is emotionally available and not afraid to show how she feels. Someone who appreciates my symbolic gestures and who is positive, optimistic, nurturing, compassionate, unselfish, honest, loyal, reliable, and understands the importance of building a foundation of trust. I should also say that looks are definitely important, but intelligence is equally important and a huge turn-on. Also, I appreciate ambition and competitiveness, as long as it's not over the top. I like a gal who can be serious when necessary...but also playful, with a good sense of humor and an appreciation for sarcasm. One who will poke fun at me but also laugh at herself. And I appreciate those who are free of unnecessary drama, able to admit when they're wrong, and who can accept a sincere apology.
Lastly, I think it says a lot about someone if they're a good kisser and cuddler (or at least enjoy these activities immensely). The importance of this simply cannot be overstated!
