I moved out to NYC from Cali for what I thought would be two years and ended up staying 7. I also thought I was going to save the world, which I did not, but I learned a valuable life lesson that mittens are warmer than gloves. It took me about 4 years of living on the East Coast before I could finally admit I appreciate having seasons, although I am still happiest when there's sunshine and a body of water nearby. I am very honest (sometimes to a fault), sarcastic, and am super loyal to my friends. I am pretty laid-back, but passionate about the things that are important to me. My favorite weekend activities include running, playing soccer, taking ridiculously long treks throughout the city, brunching/people watching, stalking cute dogs, and trying out new places to eat/drink with friends. I'm willing to run a half-marathon, yet somehow can never seem to make it down the block to just "drop off" my laundry. I love to cook, but I hate cleaning up afterwards. I have a bad habit of needing to finish books in one sitting. I enjoy reading all kinds of things, from Harry Potter to the news/current events. I love exploring farmers markets. I love to socialize with friends whether it be out at a new bar or watching a sports game (soccer, basketball), but also enjoy my time at home to veg out on the couch and watch bad movies. Oh and yes, I live in BK and yes cabs actually go there. I love to take advantage of everything this city has to offer. I will try just about anything at least once. Would be nice to meet someone who is willing to do all these things with me and make it more fun. Ideally someone who has an active lifestyle and can hold his own in a conversation. Being a decent cook wouldn't hurt either. And if it doesn't pan out, I'm always down for new friends. Oh, and I don't really get this whole wink thing. Just message me.
