I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to LA at 18 to become a professional dancer (TV, movies) and then to NYC (Broadway). I was a dancer for 13 years. I still love to dance and enjoy salsa, Argentine Tango, and am getting back into ballet class. Don't worry, you do not have to be a dancer to go out with me! I also practice Pilates and yoga.
I like gardening and going to the movies. I love the blues, R&B, pop, Motown, live Zydeco bands, old Argentine tango, Bobbly Blue Bland, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Keith Jarrett, Iron and Wine, Pink Martini, Hem, Rihanna, Prokofiev, Debussy and lots more.
I am an empty-nester, proud mother of two artistic daughters -- one is an art college graduate who is living and working in NYC, and one an art school dropout :-) but still creating art. I have lived in Palo Alto for 20 years, a great place to raise my kids, but now I could live anywhere. I think living in San Francisco would be fun.
I look forward to meeting someone special, someone to talk to at the end of the day, someone to do fun things with. I like being around positive, curious, open-minded, tolerant, loving people. I'm very easy-going and not into chaos/drama. I'm looking for a monogamous relationship with a nice man with similar values.
