I'm a sci-fi, horror nerd that likes sports but I don't obsess over them - I'd much rather spend the weekend exploring the city over watching games on the couch. I love to travel and experience new things and I enjoy pop culture, street art, cinema and music of all kinds, and I crave technology. I work in marketing and advertising and consider myself to have a creative mind and an eye for art. Family is very important to me as are honesty, trust and respect.
Fall is my favorite season, mainly because you can wear your entire wardrobe during autumn - shorts by day, jeans and a light jacket by night. I also love it when the leaves change color and sunsets are especially beautiful during this time of year. My favorite holiday by far is Halloween and the older I get the more I seem to celebrate it. My October is always extremely Halloween centric, I celebrate Halloween the entire month much like people celebrate Christmas all through December. I went trick-or-treating this year with my nephews dressed as a Zombie Stormtrooper - is that sci-fi horror nerd enough for you?
Friends and family describe me as selfless and I typically put others before myself almost to a fault. I never pass up an opportunity to do a good deed and definitely believe in karma. I'd give my last ten dollars to a hungry person on the street knowing that the universe will return the favor in kind soon enough. I'm the guy that actually answers the phone and offers to help out when you're moving, I may even show up early with extra boxes and packing tape.
Music currently in heavy rotation on my MP3 player includes: Passion Pit, Silversun Pickups, Imagine Dragons, The Fray, M83, Linkin Park, Foster the People, Lana Del Rey, Adele and The Script. My music collection is vast and I listen to almost everything out there. I enjoy video games too, but I don't play them very often. Newer gaming systems are cool, but given a choice I would rather play retro arcade games like Frogger, Pac-Man or Galaga out at a bar - lowest score buys the next round.
I'm ultimately looking for someone that shares some of the same interests. Seems like everyone likes to travel, drink wine and pamper their pets, I'd rather find out what makes you a unique and interesting person. If you agree that Han shot first we'd probably get along great. Life is more fun with a special person by your side to share experiences with.
