I am a US citizen, but I live in Costa Rica. I've lived here for most of my life, but travel to the US often.
Lots of things make me smile, sunsets, a flower, a child's insight. I am lucky to have a wonderful group of long time friends, two great grown up kids and a job that I love.
I'm looking for someone that wants to have a fun, peaceful relationship, that enjoys travel and the outdoors as much as staying at home and watching a good movie or a game after making dinner together. I'm a good cook!
I'm honest and straight forward to a fault and I have strong family values. I'm very loyal and expect the same from you. I work hard, love my children beyond description and cherish my friends. I sing in the car, am weak enough to pick up stray dogs but strong enough to find them homes or take them to the shelter (we already have 3).
I'm pretty easy going and am most comfortable in jeans and a great white t-shirt and sandals. I have to really love the dress, the man and the occasion to break out the high heels, but I can and do. You will never catch me in acrylic finger nails or stuck on my phone texting.
My kids are almost out of the nest and I'd like to travel and explore the world....the thing is I'd rather not do it alone. I'm hoping to share the adventure with a person that enjoys some of the same activities that I do and will teach me to love some new ones. I've been to most of South America, but want to go back, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Baja California, a bit of Europe and the US. I am ready to explore the world AND can pay my own way. I want to understand new cultures, try their food, see their wildlife, hike their trails and be inspired.
