I am both traditional and offbeat, creative and technical, artistic and practical, probably overly-giving, outgoing, perhaps too sincere/nice, and kinesthetic. I like cool, fun, slinky, insightful, reliable people as well as cool, fun, cross cultural places, music (just about any live), and design. I like to create, i like to explore (I've travelled alot and done a lot of things) and, at the same time, i am sentimental about and drawn to that with which i have a sense of history.
I can't get enough of my 17 nieces and nephews, ever (or most kids for that matter). i like dogs too, good food, water, coastline, sunsets (no, i did not just say that) and my shopping cart always has flowers and nice red wine.
I am looking for someone can make the most mundane fun, who has his sh*t together, has a fast wit and mind, is sexy (to me), and who at least kinda knows himself well. I opt for a man with a dominant empathy gene as well as self confidence -- with pride in his health and integrity, and sense of humor not at others' expense.
(having now been on match for about a month, i have to add a few things because people send some biting messages. i am on this site somewhat sporadically since i have a busy life, at times. so i you don't hear back from me for awhile, please don't send a nasty message. i just don't see the logic in that anyway. similarly, please don't disregard what I say i am looking for but rather accept as right for me. i was born when my father was a young man and i am not attracted to men in or around his age. also, i have a nephew who is over 30 -- i thinks it is biologically healthy, natural and instinctive to be attracted to men who couldn't be your father or your sister's son. i just prefer a peer in some ways: ballpark in age, similar interests, experiences, education and income. just as so many of you say you want a woman with whom you have a lot in common, please don't put me down for wanting the same. hence, my preferences regarding education, career, income, etc. i most respect those with drive, energy, and a great sense of humor and spontaneity. oh, due to past injuries, i am not your girl if you want a triathlon, skydiving, or bungey-jumping buddy, (boo hoo) or to clean your house for you, but i do love to cook. not the deep sea fishing type either --are there really a lot of women looking for that, often? shouldn't you be on the "fishing buddies" site?) ). music, art, science, design, travel, home-life, gardens, views, water, scuba/snorkel, and different subcultures, foodie, trees, mountains, being coupled up are more me.
