I moved to the area for grad school last year. Before that, I was living in Virginia just outside of DC. DC is a fun place, but you can't beat the weather and outdoor activities over here. I've had a lot of fun exploring the area, including wine-tasting, surfing (I'm terrible), and hiking.
My family is Belgian (French speaking), so I return there every year or so to keep in touch. Family is important to me.
I love learning, be it through internet, books, radio, podcasts. Learning is a dominant theme at this point in my life; it brought me to California and it brought me back to school. I'm studying AI, a topic which interests me because it covers much philosophical ground.
I'm looking for someone smart, athletic, kind, driven. I enjoy conversation, dinners (out or in), movies, day-trips.
