Wow, Ive never had to sit down and write a description of my self?? O.K. I am a devoted father of two incredible girls. They are my first priority. I absolutely love to travel and see new things and experience new things. I have lived in Hawaii, San Diego, Oakland, San Francisco, Maryland, Florida, Mallorca Spain, and have driven through 47 states. I love seeing new places and meeting new people and hearing their stories. Because of this I have found my calling in the Hospitality industry, where I am currently a Chef. I am incredibly passionate about what I do and absolutely love it. I don't consider it work I love it so much. I have worked at some of the finest restaurants and hotels in the world. The French Laundry, Boulevard, The Lark Creek Inn, ant the Ritz Carlton to name a few. I have a great love of art and the arts, and architecture as well. I feel that I incorporate both of these loves into my dishes, all of them have both architectural structure and are presented in a way that is what I feel is edible art.
I love travel, exploring and the outdoors in general. I love to hike and go camping or just go for a walk. I enjoy sports and keeping my self fit and in good health. Mainly I love surfing. It is truly the most rewarding sport I have ever tried. We are all connected to water as humans, and my connection to the ocean goes even deeper, it is a connection to the planet itself. I also enjoy tennis, shooting, well just about any sport to be honest. I just prefer to be outdoors doing something as opposed to sitting inside.
I have an insatiable zest for life and the thrill of discovery, and am looking for someone who shares that as well. I believe it's important to laugh, and am looking for someone who can make me laugh, and that can teach me new things. I never stop learning and want to be with someone who feels the same way. I am a hopeless romantic who loves being chivalrous. I enjoy cozy fires good food, good wine, and good company. I enjoy pampering my partner, if she has had a hard day, I would happily cook dinner, while she enjoys a glass of wine in a hot bath that i ran for her. Btw...i am very domesticated so i do dishes and clean as well. If her day was really stressful, i would offer a massage. I only have this one chance in life and I don't want to die with regrets like Oh, I should have done that, or tried that or taken that chance. The only failure in life is to have never tried at all.
