I'll just spew forth what comes to mind. I am very loving/I love easily. Not the fall-in-love romantically way, the sincere, caring for others way. I love kissing people on the forehead and holding people in warm hugs. I'm a pharmacist by trade, but a cello player by passion, and practice almost daily. I very much enjoy making people laugh. I do impressions of/create cartoon or character voices uncannily well. I'm utterly straightforward about many things. There's nothing I'd say behind your back I won't say to your face. I've found a new passion for reading classic literature. Challenge me to try something new, I may just. I am vegan, but not an "evangelical vegan" ... it would be great if you are vegetarian/vegan, as that would make food choices easier, but you certainly do not have to be. That being said, I will not be changing my mind based on your choices any more than I intend to change yours by mine ... we all take our own journey in our own time :) I love rich colors and warm, fresh scents ... like bonfires in autumn, or dryer sheets, or lilies. I can be a real smarty pants. I'm not a love-at-first-sight girl. With me, it grows over time. I'm not afraid or nervous about first dates, ever. I have plenty of room in my heart for your children if you have any, but I do not need to have children myself to feel like I am a whole and complete woman. I'm always up for an adventure, and rarely find myself tied to any one place for any reason (my current situation included). It's not that "no where" feels like home, more that "everywhere" can feel like home. The only sport I LOVE watching is hockey, and I'm a huge fan of my Buffalo Sabres (but, I'll root for the Chicago White Sox, or Chicago Bears or Buffalo Bills if I'm in the mood). I positively love dogs, and I have a 75-pound hound doggie, Ben, to prove it. I feel blah in a beige room, as I crave color with richness and depth surrounding me. I have classic tastes in furnishings and clothing, skewing toward a penchant for Art Deco, Gothic, Victorian and Arts and Crafts decor. I hate being cold unless I have a snuggly way to get warm. I love early Autumn and summer the best. My coworkers say I am always incredibly happy and nice. I can be a loner at times when I am home, but I generally prefer being in the presence of another kindred soul. I've been described as a spunky monkey, and I kinda like that description. Okay, here's your application form. Most of these are not prerequisites, but are instead highly recommended: Be a fun, happy person. Truly kind by nature, with a bit of wicked, saucy humor. Intelligence is a must, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist (though I wouldn't exclude you if you were). Don't be afraid to be your crazy self, and don't be intimidated by me when I am MY crazy self! Have lots of energy, passion, and spontaneity, but don't be clinically insane. Go with me to a hockey game one night, and then to the symphony the next, and the opera the next, and the Renaissance Faire the next, and a bonfire in the country the next. :) Give and accept hugs freely and warmly. Be sweet and snuggly and lean your forehead on mine while we hold hands ... there's hardly anything I love more. I'm a sucker for a pretty face, as bodies change over time (but please, don't disappear when you turn sideways, and don't be proportioned like a blueberry). If your 'look' fits your personality, that's just fine, but overall I'm not a fan of men who are overly trendy, high maintenance (ie, metrosexual), or grungey (if that's even a word). Does this sound like a lot? I dunno. I like what I like, and make no apologies for it. I'm sure there are many good men out there who fit the bill. Give me a man with sparkling eyes, a contagious smile, and an ability to stimulate me mentally, and that's a recipe to get me hooked. (And ... can this girl get a sea-kayaking partner????) :)
