I'm a professor of European and Latin American history, love to travel, have lived in many different countries, and also love music, good eats, and the outdoors. I've spent much of the past ten years gallivanting around the globe and am now thinking about diminishing the pace a bit -- but not too much! I love the contemplative as well as the active life, urban living and time spent far from the entrapments of modern civilization (read: e-mail). I just recently moved to LA and am looking to meet someone to have a good time with, but also to start a relationship that might lead somewhere else.
