I love exploration...of almost any kind...foods, cultures, music, destinations, activities, etc... I try to keep my thoughts and actions positive, peaceful, and loving because I truly believe in the Universal Law of Karma: what goes around comes back around. I work hard, love my kids, family, and friends, and try not to take myself and others too seriously!,,,after all, aren't we All just a work in progress,,,
I hope to meet a genuine stand up guy,,, a modern day gentleman who enjoys life, has some of the same interests I do, and still believes our best days are ahead. Someone who will be happy with me for the person I am, and allow me to enjoy the person he is.
Being honest , open-minded, and flexible are qualities that are really important to me and I try to exhibit these same qualities on a consistent basis.
I lead a very active, healthy lifestyle and take good care of myself. I believe everything in moderation...including moderation, is a good thing. (wink) Travel--Every chance I get!! I care about the world we live in, love to explore it, and try to do my part to preserve and honor it. I'm very easy going and non-judgemental. In other words,,,,if you like it, and it works for you, then I love it!
I really enjoy cycling, hiking, water activities, and the beach in the spring and summer, but winter is probably my favorite time of the year. I enjoy skiing and just taking a break from it all. Life seems to slow down a bit around this time,,,and it's a great excuse to cuddled up on the couch or in front of a beautiful fire. (not that we get the chance very often in Houston. Lol)
I have an introspective side... I think deeply about things and enjoy good conversation on a variety of topics including current events, politics, different philosophies, life choices, etc... Those closest to me have described me as having an "earthy-organic" quality.
I believe sometimes finding the right person at that exact right point in our lives takes us on a journey, and you have to be willing to put yourself out there and take a few risks because you just never know where/when happiness will show up!!
