I feel blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful city. I have lived back in San DIego for 3 years now, and couldn't be happier. I have a job where I get to enjoy the sunshine teaching private swim lessons to kids. It is such a blast, but can also be challenging at times. When I'm not working, I love the beach. I like to play sports; tennis and softball to name a few but I'm game for anything. I am very competitive, and can be a bit of a tomboy. I do have a girly side as well. I love fashion, and have my bachelors in apparel design and merchandising. I love getting dressed up to go out and hit a new restaurant or bar once in a while. Quiet nights in can be great too; snuggling up on the couch with a glass of wine and a great movie.
My family and friends are incredibly important to me. I would do anything for the people I love and I always put them first. My parents have been together over 30 years and have showed me what a great marriage is all about. I feel lucky everyday to have such an amazing family that is always there for me. I love spending time with them, and there is never a dull moment!
I'm at the point in my life where I am ready to meet someone great. I think the foundation of a lasting relationship is that of a great friendship, just with someone you are wildly attracted to. I want someone who is honest, loyal and trustworthy. Someone who makes me laugh, knows how to have fun, and who inspires me. I want to find someone that knows being in a serious relationship doesn't mean you have to take life too seriously. As Carrie put it on Sex and the City, “I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love." It might sound a little cheesy, but on some level it's true.
I'm hoping that Match can introduce me to lots of candidates;)
