A little about me, I am a Denver native who prefers sledding over skiing. My friends would tell you I am loyal, compassionate, sensitive, and have a mischevious side. I would say that I have a witty sense of humor and the ability to laugh at myself and at anyone else-I just need the opportunity. I have been told that the sun shines a little brighter on me as I am definately a glass half full kind of person.
I enjoy my job and although I don't always work 9-5/M-F, it does allow me certain freedoms (think grocery store when its not the dinner/weekend mob). In my spare time I volunteer and make it a point to spend quality time with those who are important to me. My sister is one of my best friends, drinking buddies (see photos!) and workout partners.
Now that I have the single mom thing down, I am ready to have an identity other than someone's mom. I adore my son and he's a huge part of my life but I am at a point where I want to share my time with someone. I can honestly say that I am comfortable with who I am and what I'm doing. I don't NEED to have a man in my life to be complete, instead I want someone to be my best friend and sounding board. That being said, I am definately not a high maintenance drama queen and my independance has been known to work against me in the dating world... :)
In my perfect world (okay, so that's a stretch) I am looking for someone that is laid back, self confident-but not to the point of being an ego maniac, funny, and has direction in life. I am not the kind of girl to try and change someone into something they aren't. Just someone who is passionate about life and willing to share in all the ups and downs that comes with that. Easy enough, right?
