I currently live in Center City Philly, but I am originally from the WB (aka Wilkes-Barre). I work a lot, but when I do go out I usually entertain myself in Rittenhouse Square, AC, and Avalon. I like comedy clubs and theatre (but not too keen on musicals). When I stay in, I can be quite happy watching a movie. Thrillers are my favorite (Hello Usual Suspects!), and I take real enjoyment in finding that great low budget movie that no one has heard of yet. I like to go to the gym (usually late night) and currently dominate the local intramural basketball scene (sure it's against 4th graders, but some of them are almost 5 feet tall). Like most, I'm always up for traveling and want to do a lot more, but it's always more fun with two. I'm up for seeing any of the four Philly sport teams, but heading to Citizen's Bank to watch the Phils is by far my favorite.
As far as who I'm looking for, it's pretty simple, just not in the bar scene apparently. Looking for a girl who is nice, thoughtful, comfortable being feminine, and well-rounded. I'm looking for a self-confident and social person, someone who can express herself well. I'd like to be able to have discussions on current events that just don't involve the Kardashians and Snooki. A little here and there is fine though. I can be down with GTL. I can be sarcastic and always like to poke fun at my close friends, so I hope you don't take yourself too seriously.
