I love to surround myself with people that are passionate about their career, hobby, or something in their life. I love being around people who care about the world around them, take an interest in helping others, but also those who have a natural drive to do everything that they do in their lives well, both on a personal and professional level. People that are genuine and ambitious, that make things happen rather than just talk and those that desire to continuously learn are generally very attractive to me.
I have now lived in NYC for a little over five years and love it here. I see it as a place that I want to call "home", but yet for anyone that gets to know me, you will also see that I am spontaneous and would entertain the idea of moving to Europe or LA, or living a bicoastal lifestyle for awhile. Over the last 12 years, I have lived all over, from LA, to Philadelphia, Bloomington, Dusseldorf, Barcelona, to Madrid, and I am finally thrilled that I am at a place that I can at least start to consider "home".
I love to travel. I love taking random short weekend trips skiing or to islands, and at least a couple longer trips each year as well. Would love to meet someone who is spontaneous and is willing to just travel with me somewhere fun but random on a whim.
I love having long conversations about a wide variety of topics and enjoy spending time with someone who both seeks to understand me and my viewpoints as well as to challenge them. I enjoy someone who has their own thoughts and experiences that they bring to any conversation. I am well read and informed across a variety of subjects and interests and so it is amazing when you can have conversations with depth with your partner.
I love animals, especially dogs. I had a golden retriever who lives in LA... which I love, and would probably have at least two more if I could.
Health and fitness is a huge part of my life and I am looking for someone who either feels the same way about it or at least respects it and supports it.
