I have been vacillating for a week or so as to going back on Match so I have had a bare-bones profile sans photo to facilitate my viewing your profiles. Similar to my last foray on Match 4 years ago, the build up of a few Favorites in my queue has impelled me to step up 100% on this lovely site. So here goes.
I was raised by an iron willed single mother who was a warrior for her sons. She had her sword out of its sheath every day fighting for my brothers and me. The role model she was/is imbued me with a great love and respect for all women, but especially single mothers. I include this so you will know that I love, respect and revere women and I am seeking a woman who knows that is how a man should be and not one who thinks that a man like that is "not enough of a challenge". If you want a challenge log onto Words With Friends, dial up mtsslam and I will kick your butt!!
Two of the most mentioned traits in your profiles are CONFIDENCE and SENSE OF HUMOR. I have always been able to make women laugh and I have been told I am very confident by most women and cocky by a few. I think there is a fine line between the two. Micheal Jordan is confident, Kobe Bryant is arrogant. Derek Jeter is confident, Tiger Woods is arrogant. George Clooney is confident and Tom Cruise is arrogant and just plain weird! A confident man can be self-depricating a arrogant man never does.
I am 6'8" and 265 lbs, a cross between Christopher Reeve and Herman Munster ;) so if you don't like big guys I might not be the best fit for you. I work out 5 to 7 days a week so when I say big guy I don't mean it in the way most "big guys" do. I am in good shape and I take a lot of pride in my body for myself as much as anything. I played both Football and Basketball in college and I guess in my mind I don't like it when I stray too far from what I was back then...I did say too far, right?? As for you, I don't require an aerobics queen, just someone who takes care of herself.
What am I looking for in a woman? The same things you are, Confidence, humor etc. I love a woman with a sunny disposition, one who is always smiling and upbeat. Of course I must be strongly attracted to her physically. Is there a more nebulous word than attractive? Attraction is like the definition of obscenity: you know it when YOU see it. My axiom on attraction is "that's why Baskin-Robbins makes 31 flavors" I will be very straight forward and honest with respect to interest from you or my interest in you. If you email or wink and I don't feel a great attraction I will tell you that right away. Why waste each others time? I expect the same from you in return. I have been in Sales for 25 years so I can take the rejection because I believe it puts both of us one step closer to finding a life partner. I am a bit of a freak about hair. For me long hair is one of the main things that make a woman a woman. I mean no offense by this I just don't do the "mommy hair"
After 15 years in the courier delivery industry I started my own small company in May. It takes up a lot of my time but it feels good to be building something for myself for a change. I guess I have not included a lot about what kind of music and movies I like and where I have traveled to etc.. (love most movies except slasher type stuff and really love rom-coms just lost my man card!. Been through most of the US and Canada when I was 'rassler in the late 80'S early 90'S damn I just lost 20 IQ points in your mind! I have been on the Weakest Link game show and passed the MENSA test, although I never joined because I always heed the Groucho Marx line about joining clubs. I will buy dinner when we go out if you can tell me the line. No fair google-ing!!
Good luck in your search The answer to the question at the top of my page is.... The first 10 rows of any wrestling crowd !!! Cheers
