I’m looking for the kind of guy, for whom travel involves little more than your backpack, a few changes of clothes, guide book, passport, patience, and a sense of humor. Someone who is comfortable just booking their first night in a hostel and then ‘figuring it out.’ I have learned that often the greatest moments of travel (and life) are found while smiling and embracing the unexpected, and would need my travel companion to whole-heartedly agree. The kind of person who appreciates travel to explore, not just escape.
While not traveling, or planning hypothetical trips abroad I appreciate the lifestyle i created for myself here in Denver. During the school year I enjoy the predictability of routine and structure... while always allowing for spontaneity and novelty.
Relationships of all types are at the center of my life, whether it be with my family, friends, students etc. I am drawn to the type of guy that considers himself a good friend, and perhaps and even better brother, son, uncle etc.
Good conversation and communication are also high on my priority list. I can be goofy, serious, passionate, attentive, and sassy depending on the situation or topic, and would need to find someone who is interested in and able to discuss a wide variety of topics.
Common interests are important, though I am not looking to find someone whose interests are identical to mine. Sharing quality time together and time apart are both equally healthy.
I'm looking for someone who is smart, honest, reliable, friendly, caring, outgoing. Someone who lives and values an active, healthy lifestyle and is as curious about the world and eager to explore it as I am.
