An import to the Bay Area from London, England (yes, yes... I do talk funny..), I've been enjoying San Francisco for 7 years and looking for someone to explore and travel with.
I've got a travel bug, so love pottering around Europe and Latin America.. usually without really planning trips - I just pack the essentials: passport, credit card, a good travel book and a cheeky smile. Current fav place is Buenos Aries - its such a beautiful place that reminds me of Europe, great fun loving people and a pulse to the city that is uniquely South American. When you write me that opening email let me know where you love to travel too and why.
Ok, so character? ....let's see... some people think I'm witty, smart and a little bit of a wise-ass (in the nicest way of course!). A collector of odd American linguistic idioms sayings (my fave: "Oooh no you dit uh" and other double negations) and I'm perfecting my accent impersonations which I'm pretty bad at. My affected Atlanta ("alanna") accent sounds more like Pakistani... but I'm working on it :)
What else... I talk a lot when I'm comfortable in company, and have more opinions on *everything* than I really should have... although I usually make up my most controversial opinions at dinner parties if there's a lull in conversation. This is becoming a frequently exercised hobby.
My only real opinion is that I'm unsuited to date unthinking conservative Republicans. Tried this once and ended up arguing politics all evening, quite unromantic!!. So, yes I'm a middle road/liberal type with an interest in political thought.
